Individual, Relationship, and Sex Therapy in New Jersey

Therapy for the Patterns That Complicate Connection

You may know why you shut down during conflict, pursue someone who pulls away, lose contact with your own desire, or keep replaying an ending that never made sense. Knowing why rarely changes what happens next.

I work with adults and relationships navigating recurring patterns, sexual concerns, online dating, ghosting, ambiguous loss, and emotional or physical disconnection.

Therapy gives us a structured place to examine what keeps happening, how the pattern took hold, and what responding differently could actually look like. We look at your history, relationships, identities, circumstances, and present patterns without reducing you to a diagnosis or a single explanation.

Therapy Services

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy may focus on relationship patterns, anxiety, online dating, ghosting, ambiguous loss, sexuality, boundaries, grief, self-trust, or life transitions.

The work can help you understand what keeps repeating, how uncertainty affects your choices, and what connection requires without asking you to abandon yourself.

Relationship Therapy

Relationship therapy helps partners examine recurring cycles of conflict, withdrawal, resentment, mistrust, or sexual disconnection.

I work with couples and other intimate relationship structures. The work may focus on repair, decision-making, changing established patterns, or understanding whether the relationship can continue in a workable form.

Sex Therapy

Sex therapy is psychotherapy focused on desire, pleasure, sexual functioning, intimacy, sexual communication, and the emotional or relational concerns connected to sexuality.

It remains talk therapy. Sessions do not involve nudity, physical examination, sexual touching, demonstrations, or observation of sexual activity.

My Clinical Approach

How I Work

Starting therapy means handing a stranger the parts of your life that don't make sense yet, and trusting them to help you find the sense in it. I don't make you do that alone. I am active, direct, and collaborative in the room.

I listen closely, ask specific questions, notice patterns, and tell you what I am seeing. I may ask you to slow down a familiar story, clarify what happened in a particular moment, or separate what you know from what you fear.

I will support you. I'll also push back when it's useful. Therapy that only validates is an echo. You will get more than an echo with me.

I will challenge conclusions that do not fully hold up. I will also respect your right to make decisions that fit your values, circumstances, and understanding of your own life.

Therapy with me has room for seriousness, contradiction, discomfort, and humor. You do not need to arrive with a polished explanation. Some willingness to look honestly at what is happening gives us a place to begin.

How this is Different from Center for Connection & Relationships

People sometimes find me through one door and ask about the other, so here's the distinction: this is clinical work. It's confidential, licensed, and built around your specific history.

My clinical work is separate from Center for Connection and Relationships, also known as CenterCR.

CenterCR provides education, coaching, frameworks, skill-building, written resources, and relationship and sexuality learning experiences. It does not provide psychotherapy, diagnosis, clinical assessment, treatment, or crisis care.

Purchasing a CenterCR resource, attending an educational program, subscribing to its newsletter, or participating in coaching does not establish a therapist-client relationship with me or with Moorestown Therapy Collective.

The two bodies of work share an interest in relationships, sexuality, and connection. They differ in purpose, setting, professional role, privacy protections, and the type of service provided. Some people use both. Neither is a smaller version of the other.

***Current therapy clients should use the Moorestown Therapy Collective systems provided for scheduling, payment, forms, and clinical communication. Therapy records and protected health information are not managed through CenterCR.***
